ProMove.com – The Apartment Source

ProMove.comMoving, they say, can be one of the most stressful times ever, and if you add to that the fact that you actually have to find a place to rent, learn about all sorts of uninteresting things (expenses, landlords, fees, etc.), the thing gets more and more confusing by the minute, so if you are moving to Dallas or Atlanta, relax and sit back: ProMove.

com can be of great help. This site is a rental Real Estate service in those cities, and by visiting it you’ll be able to get in touch with a sales rep who’ll help you with your search, meaning that you will have to fill in a short form with your name, contact details and apartment preferences, but when you click the ‘Start Your Apartment Search Now’ button don’t get your hopes up: you won’t be able to take a look at the listings online, you just have to wait for the company to call you. Though the service is free for home searchers, there are lots of other listing services which will allow customers to view the properties online, and I’m suspecting that a huge percentage of them will prefer to browse the properties at leisure as opposed to speak with an agent, not to mention the slightly unsavory aftertaste of having to provide one’s data and only then know that the listings are not available onsite. Also, ProMove.com presents a huge sign in its homepage stating that users can get up to three months of free rent, but no details on such an interesting promotion, which seems a remarkably strange marketing strategy.
