Projectlinus.org – Help Only With A Blanket

Projectlinus.orgProject Linus National Headquarters is located in Illinois. Its mission is to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer “blanketeers”.

If you want you help all you have to do is make a blanket and donate it to your local Project Linus Chapter. They will take your blanket to a facility where it will be given to a deserving child. Project Linus welcomes blankets of all styles, including quilts, tied comforters, fleece blankets, crocheted or knitted afghans, and receiving blankets in child-friendly colors. They must be new, handmade and washable. If you don’t have a chapter in your area, contact the nearest chapter to determine the area that they cover. Many chapter coordinators will work with you even if you are not in their immediate area. Projectlinus.org
