This website belongs to the Philadelphia Parking Authority Auctions. This organization repossesses cars from those not authorized to drive and then auctions them. Part of the proceeds go to the Philadelphia school system.
A list of rules to keep in mind when attending their auctions is available for you to check. You will find that there is a certain period of hours everyday in which cars can be viewed, and the rest of the day they will remain in lock down. There are no refunds and every car is handed out in their current state with all the different flaws and mechanical problems it may have.
Everyone attending the auctions and looking to purchase a car need to present their valid driver’s license. If the license is not valid or expired, the Philadelphia Parking Authority may decide to take it.
