This site aims to index all the podcasts it can find — no easy feat. If you like to hear or create podcasts on your Itunes, this is the site for you.
But the site is way more than just an index or search engine, it is a place that offers tutorials, news, products, information, ideas, interviews and stories about some of the popular podcasters. They also highlight the most popular podcasts, the featured podcasts of the month, etc. It is a beautiful site — well-designed, organized, arranged and user-friendly. Even more incredible, it is all managed by one devoted podcaster who fervently believes podcasting is revolutionizing the way we communicate. This site is exploding with energy and potential.
PodcastAlley.com In Their Own Words
“Welcome to the best place to find all information relating to podcasts and podcasting. We are striving to develop the biggest and best directory of podcasts (podcast directory) available on the Internet. Podcasting is a great way for professionals and individuals alike to create audio news files (podcasts) that people can download to their iPods or other portable media devices and listen to when they are away from their computers. Heck, some people even listen to these podcasts directly from their computers, no mp3 player needed!”
Why PodcastAlley.com It Might Be A Killer
Podcasting is a growing phenomenon and this site captures the spirit of this revolution perfectly. The site is also getting excellent traffic.
Some Questions About PodcastAlley.com
Is podcasting a true revolution in communication? I don’t know if the answer to that question is important or not, but I’m not still not convinced podcasting is the culture-changing medium this site wants it to be. Then again, I could be totally wrong and it could be our only way one day of receiving independent news and information. Is there a reason only one guy is maintaining this site? With the traffic and popularity of the site, it seems there would be a lot of interested investors.
