Planning Can Actually Be Fun, If You Do It On Raft

Today’s Killer Startup: Raft

Elevator Pitch:

Raft “makes it easy and fun to share calendar with friends and loved ones.”

Why It’s A Killer Startup:

If you had to make a list of the top 100 most fun things that you do every day, I’d be willing to bet that “scheduling” would be nowhere to be found. I actually hate logistics so much that I actively avoid making plans with people who I know aren’t good at them — and I know I’m not alone in my dislike of calendar-ing.

But I have great news for the logistically-adverse among us! Raft is a calendar app that makes your calendar. You can create events and share them with friends and loved ones or keep them to yourself. If you have a romantic partner, they even have a “partner connection,” which makes sharing those events that involve the both of you even easier. You can import your events from all of your boring old regular calendars and you can browse what your friends are up to the raft Feed feature.

Oh, and in the most recent version of Raft, they’ve also integrated with Giphy, so you can add gifs to your plans. Obviously gifs should be added to everything, so this is a great upgrade, IMO.

Look, scheduling will never be fun. It’s always going to be kind of annoying to try to get all of the people involved in all of the things that you want them to be involved in. But if you’re scheduling with Raft, you can rest assured that at least your scheduling will be easier, more fun, and definitely more gif-filled. The app is currently available for iOS (for free!) and they’re hard at work on one for Android as well.
