You can estimate ranges, staffing, granular costs and language implementation by seeing best and worst case scenarios. There is a “what if” tool which can compare different project scenarios to see which ones are the most useful and efficient. The solo version of Planix is free but only allows you to have one active project at a time. Planix has an attracting interface, the blue and black background do a great job at making the writing stand out. The homepage highlights all of the applications functions nicely. It is nice that there are different options for the application so that an individual and a large company are not paying the same price.

The tour function was not working when I was visiting the site. The tour function is a great way for people to visually understand the concept of the application so hopefully it will be fixed soon. When will the Planix platform include the other aspects of project management besides the estimates tool?
