Pin Drop is like Evernote, but instead of letting you remember ideas and thoughts it lets you remember places. As a user of this mobile application (available for download here), you’ll be able to mark all these interesting places you find when you’re out and about by pinning them on a map. You pin them down, and (at the same time) you apply a category to them. These places that you save can then be seen both by you and your friends. So, if you’re all traveling through Europe for the first time and you’ve discovered some truly great place then you can pin it down for the rest of your party to come and check it out when they have the time.
And in any case, the Pin Drop app comes with a curated list of places to visit. The idea is to cover the whole world one day, and to let you find nice (and safe) places to visit wherever you are, regardless of how well you know that location. By using this app, you’ll no longer have to rely on others when all you want is to maximize your time and see as much of a new city as possible.
