Blogger and Wordpress are terrific platforms, but not everybody has got the time to get a blog together. There is no point in creating a blog that you are only going to use once in a blue moon. Better to use something like Peg.gd instead – an ad hoc solution for posting what you want, without the need to register or configure anything.
Peg.gd is a truly spartan platform. When you land on the site, you are provided with a series of spaces for typing whatever you feel like saying. You can tweak with some minor aspects such as the actual font that you are to use, and once you are done typing you can have the full text posted online.
These posts can actually include some content, but you need to have an understanding of HTML in order to have it added and displayed correctly.
Other than that, the site is readily usable by just anybody. Like Cat Stevens once said… if you wanna sing out, sing out.
