PC-VIP was conceived in 2004 by Jeff Yablon, a twenty-year veteran of the technology business and former President and COO of Planet Uplink, one of the first ASPs in 1998. Yablon is also the author of Uninstall for Windows (1992), and edited/produced and performed as “The Computer Answer Guy” on radio, television, and via streaming media from 1995 to 2000. He has also written for PCWorld magazine, served as President of the Computer Press Association, and created the IYM Software Review and distributed it as the world”s first all-electronic publication in partnerships with America Online, CompuServe, and Prodigy from 1999 to 2005.
