Ever wanted to give scuba diving a try, but did not know where to begin? Well, if that was the case, you no longer have an excuse. Just point your browser to the PADI website, and start browsing through the relevant sections.
PADI offers scuba diving lessons, as well as scuba diving certificates. The site is split into three different sections. They are the “Start Diving” pages, the “Keep Diving” section, and a page that goes by the name of “Teach Diving”. Besides explaining the rudiments, the “Start Diving” pages also give a little background on scuba diving itself. On the other hand, the “Teach Diving” section explains how to become a PADI instructor. Certificates are available in the form of PADI cards, and there is also a Project AWARE version that can be applied for. This particular version is requested by those who wish to make a contribution to conserving underwater environments. The site also contains a FAQ that gives information on PADI certificates, including what to do if the certificate is lost, and you need a quick replacement.
