Orbedia.com is an interesting search engine hybrid which lets you compare product and travel prices.
The site allows you to search for products to compare prices across a smorgasbord of other online shopping sites (Pricegrabber, Shopzilla, to name only a few). Alternately, you can also search for the cheapest flights, hotels, and car rentals in every world city using the same method (travel sites include Cheapoair, Orbitz, and many others). After you enter your search terms, a list of sites featuring your product or your travel needs is generated. From there, simply click on any link to go to the corresponding page to purchase the product or your trip.
