Do they sponsor contests for members? Do they connect with the PGA or other professional sources to gain sponsorship? I saw that they had google ads, but don’t they want to make more funds by getting major companies from the golf industry to sponsor their site?

Answers: To-date we have not actively pursued sponsorships of atheletes or or major companies. While we see both of these as very valuable long term, our current focus is on building out a richer features set and improving the depth of the site.
We do sponsor small contests between members on the site and hope to next year host one or more actual golf tournaments that draw in members from different geographical areas.
