But the announcement has created a lot of interest among tech fans. Many want to see how the OnePlus 13 does globally compared to other top phones. The OnePlus 13 will have IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance in global markets.
This is a big step up. Some older OnePlus phones did not have an official IP rating to save money. Key specs of the OnePlus 13 include:
– Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor
– 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with 1-120Hz refresh rate
– 12GB, 16GB, or 24GB of memory
– 6,000mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging
– 32MP front camera and 50MP main, telephoto, and ultra-wide rear cameras
– 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity
– Dual SIM support, IP69 rating, Android 15 OS
The OnePlus 13 is expected to compete with Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 series phones in early 2025.
OnePlus usually delivers high-end hardware at lower prices than rivals. It remains to be seen if that will be true this time. But the OnePlus 13’s global launch will be an exciting start to the new year for Android fans.
