Nmc.Edu is the website of the Northwestern Michigan College.
It is a publicly funded community college that serves people, organizations, and businesses throughout the Grand Traverse region. They serve more than 50,000 learners annually. NMC offers associates degrees and professional certificates, and through their University Center, ten partner universities grant baccalaureates, graduate, and doctoral degrees. Its extensive extended education program offers a vast array of non-credit classes to more than 10,000 local residents annually. You can browse the site by its many categories located at the top of the homepage. These categories are: NMC, Prospective Students, Current Students, Community, Alumni, and Faculty/Staff. This site provides information about the location of the Welcome Center, about the tours, and gives the new ones information about how to observe classes. They admit most students who have graduated from high school, completed a competency exam, or have the potential to succeed in higher education. If you have below a 2.0 average on your high school transcript, you may be admitted to NMC on provisional basis.
