The New School is a progressive university that comprises of eight schools all bounded by a common intent, prepare and inspire 9,400 undergraduate and graduate students to bring actual, positive change to the world. The New School launches economists, actors, fashion designers, urban planners, dancers, anthropologists, orchestra conductors, filmmakers, political scientists, organizational experts, jazz musicians, psychologists, historians, journalists, and world citizens that with their ideas and innovations make new paths of progress in different areas such as the arts, design, humanities, public policy, and the social sciences.
In addition, the university also offers certificate programs and more than 1,000 education courses to 13,000 adult learners each year.
