And since all of the featured events have actually been submitted by their creators, you know that the information you’re getting is totally accurate.
Which brings me to the other main use this site has got, namely letting you promote any event that you’re organizing yourself. You can have it added in a couple of minutes, just by submitting all the obvious information like where and when is the event going to be held.
