NeighborGoods is a service which aims to redefine the way neighbors interact one with each other. Maybe that statement was a bit bold, come to think of it.
It would be better to define NeighborGoods as a site whereby any person who needs something can see if any of his or her neighbors can lend a hand. That is not that radical, but it is useful par excellence.
Those who sign up are given the chance to list what it is they are willing to share, not to mention the things they could use. In this way, a sort of network that revolves around an interactive map is built, and as more members join then the more chances for everybody to find what they need right when they sorely need it.
The site has just launched, and for the time being it is only available for those who reside in California. They can sign up on the spot by furnishing a ZIP code. The rest of us (IE, the ones who don’t live in the State where it never rains) will have to sit back, stretch out and wait.
