Nacon unveils exciting new Switch 2 accessories

Nintendo has announced the release of the Nintendo Switch 2, set to launch in 2025. The company unveiled a first-look trailer today, offering a glimpse into the new hardware. The trailer is available for viewing on the official Nintendo website.

The Nintendo Switch 2 will support exclusive games as well as both physical and digital Nintendo Switch games. However, some Nintendo Switch titles may have limited functionality or compatibility on the new system. More information about game compatibility will be provided on the Nintendo website in the future.

On April 2, 2025, Nintendo will host a special presentation called ‘Nintendo Direct: Nintendo Switch 2′ to reveal additional details about the console. Starting in April, Nintendo will hold hands-on experience events around the world for consumers to try out the new system. The events are scheduled as follows:

In North America, events will take place in New York from April 4-6, Los Angeles from April 11-13, Dallas from April 25-27, and Toronto from April 25-27.

In Europe, events will be held in Paris from April 4-6, London from April 11-13, Milan from April 25-27, Berlin from April 25-27, Madrid from May 9-11, and Amsterdam from May 9-11.

In Asia, events are planned for Tokyo (Makuhari) from April 26-27 and Seoul from May 31-June 1.

Dates for events in Hong Kong and Taipei will be announced later. To participate in these events, a Nintendo Account will be required. Ticket registrations will open soon, and more information will be available on the Nintendo website.

Accessory maker Nacon has also revealed a range of new products for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2. The lineup includes a premium-looking steering wheel that houses both of the Switch 2’s Joy-Con controllers, which is particularly eye-catching for racing game enthusiasts. Other accessories in Nacon’s range include carry cases, Joy-Con wheels for use with Mario Kart and other racing games, standard grips, and screen protectors.
