MyTalk is the latest addition to the light-microblogging phenomenon. Here, users are limited to 1000 characters (which really isn’t a limit, considering today’s modern attention spans anyways) and they can post links, photos and videos too.
Messages can be shared with friends—these are labeled Topic posts and are essentially conversations. Besides, chatting up friends and making new ones with similar interests, users can add a MyTalk widget to their page to support their adsense. MyTalk divides topics into categories and posts the most popular ones on the homepage as tags. Click on any one topic to find more conversations and comments. MyTalk offers users free accounts with profile space in which to keep all your media.
