MusicMap takes a post-modern, minimalist approach to site design and layout, which I suppose is probably a hip thing to do (if not a tad frustrating). MusicMap allows you to enter the name of a band, see all their albums listed, and then “map” it to find other bands with a similar sound.
And you can keep expanding your map for quite a while to create a labyrinth of new music suggestions. Then, the site allows you to connect with Amazon to purchase this music. It is clever in design (if not too clever), but iTunes already does this for you and you can actually read their font.

Why is the site made so difficult to figure out? Why are they only trying to reach such an elite group (for example, my mother would never be able to figure this site out)? Are they drawing traffic or revenue?
