The iPhone, despite all its supposed glories, lacks IM support. Shock and horror.
But that lacuna leaves room for someone else to pick up the slack, which is exactly what Mundu aims to do. Mundu, an Indian web chat provider, offers support for ICQ, Gtalk, Yahoo, MSN, and AIM. The app is simple enough; you’ll find three main pages, the log-in page, a page for contacts, and chat. New tabs open as you click on different contacts. You can log-in simultaneously to all your separate IM accounts, and manage your online presence from there. Currently, Mundu offers its service for free, however except an $11 charge later on.

Why Mundu.com It Might Be A Killer
The iPhone doesn’t have IM and Mundo provides just that. Mundo is responsive, it’s easy to handle and it’s got a native feel. Using Mundo isn’t a struggle, it’s not trying to add to the iPhone, rather it’s supplemental, filling in a gap.
