Moodler is a service that lets people post updates where they tell the world how they are feeling, or where they discuss just anything that they feel like discussing. For example, if you feel that the ending of “Lost” just made it clear that the show got out of hand and that its creators just had no idea how to bring it all to a satisfactory conclusion, then a service like moodler will be perfect for making that point.
When posting anything, you can use hashtags in order to generate the necessary context for others to join in the conversation and (hopefully) start a trending topic. And when it comes to looking through any past conversation before joining it, you can view search results as a graph. That will be useful if you want to use the service in order to poll people, and have the results displayed in a setting that leaves no room for confusions.
As a service, Moodler is free and it takes the form of an application that you download and launch from your desktop.
I honestly don’t know in which sense can this be deemed an improvement over platforms like Twitter, and the fact that you have to download an app to get going will probably turn a good number of individuals off.
