What do you do when you’ve lost an earring, a glove, some silverware or anything that comes in pairs? Easy. You visit the site and either buy a piece to replace the one that you’ve lost, or sell the one that still remains. MissingPair.com is a marketplace where you can buy and sell such items, and you can do so without having to pay any kind of listing fees. You can post anything you want. As long as it’s something that comes in pairs, then it’ll be accepted. You have to choose a category for it from the four that are available (“Shoes”, “Gloves”, “Earrings” and “Furniture”), but that’s basically it.
The site has just launched, and there’s really not a lot to browse through or look at for that matter. But the concept is interesting. Honestly, I had never heard of a marketplace like this one before. So, kudos to the ones who thought it all up. Now, to see if it can attract enough people to become something slightly successful. I’ll say it again – the idea is quite novel in itself. That alone turns it into the kind of site that doesn’t deserve to go unnoticed.
