The Mineral and Gemstone Kingdom is a free, interactive, educational guide to rocks, minerals and gemstones. The site is really well organized and categorized, while its content is intended for both amateurs and experts.
The page is really easy to navigate since it all handled from its side bar on the left side which includes among other things a list of minerals from A to Z, a list of gemstones, a gallery of the above, and a truly complete glossary. Minerals.net also features links to related pages, a “what’s new” section and a very handy search tool that will help you find anything in particular you might be looking for as long as it is in the site’s database. A really a good resource you should bookmark if interested in the page’s theme!
