Among the services they provide there are bariatric services, coumadin clinic, diabetes services, dog therapy, emergency department, hand surgery, laboratory services, occupational medicine, plastic surgery, urology services, respiratory care, sports medicine, vascular services, etc. They also have an education department that includes health information, patient education, poison safety guide, professional conferences, support groups, etc. Through all of these services they would like to be a regional health resource for the residents of the Upper Peninsula and Northern Great Lakes. At the web site there are four main sections: about MGHS, Physician section, patient information, and major services. Within the physician section there is a physician directory, residency, MSU college, etc. The major services include assisted living, behavioral health, cancer center, heart institute, home health and hospice, radiology, trauma center, neuro sciences center, surgical services, and vascular services. In addition there is a link designated for women and children that includes parental care, obstetrics, gynecology, etc.
