Meridith Valiando Co-Creates DigiTour, World’s First Social Media Tour

Meridith Valiando, who you might recognize as the face of Blackberry’s new “Be Bold” campaign, is Co-President of Greenhouse Entertainment, a division of de Passe Jones Entertainment. Greenhouse is a fully integrated entertainment one-stop shop that nurtures and grows talent and content with a focus on teen, tween, and the new media youth market. Meridith is co-founder of the annual DigiTour, the first official YouTube sponsored national concert tour.

 

 

In the Spring of 2011, The DigiTour was seen byaudiences in twenty-six cities across the US. It showcased the brightest social media stars with a combined two billion views and ten million subscribed fans. The tour is entering it’s second year March 7th 2012. Meridith was tapped recently to be the face of Blackberry’s new “Be Bold” campaign, as a result of her being a forward thinking executive who uses Blackberry. The spot includes an interview with Meridith about her career, Greenhouse, and The DigiTour by award winning director Errol Morris. The campaign airs February 13th nationwide on television and the print campaign will follow throughout the web and print media.

 

At the forefront of the viral revolution, Greenhouse Entertainment focuses on the intersection of social media, film, TV, music, live touring, and gaming and stays on the pulse of today’s rapidly changing entertainment landscape.
