MeitY grants ₹2 crores to BIMTECH startups

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has granted Rs 2 crore in funding to five startups incubated at the Atal Incubation Centre (AIC) of the Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH). This funding is part of the SAMRIDH program. The five startups are Cunomial, Credit Siddhi, Origin Connect, Transport Simple, and Vacus.

They are part of a group of eight startups supported by AIC-BIMTECH under the program. Together, these startups have a total valuation of Rs 75 crore. The SAMRIDH program was started by MeitY.

It aims to help startups grow faster by giving them money and supporting new ideas in different fields. Dr. Prabina Rajib, Director of BIMTECH, said, “The SAMRIDH program has helped BIMTECH give startups the resources and knowledge they need.

Our researchers and teachers help build a base of information that startups can use to make good choices, come up with new ideas, and stay ahead in tough markets.

Shalini Singh, Chairperson of the Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development and Acting CEO of AIC BIMTECH, talked about the full support AIC BIMTECH gives to startups. “We provide more than just space and resources. We also offer valuable mentoring, networking, chances to reach markets, connections to investors, and many activities to help businesses grow.

This makes sure startups have the right tools and resources to expand, innovate, and do well in a always-changing market.”

AIC BIMTECH has helped around 400 startups and made more than 200 partnerships. This creates a lively environment for new businesses to grow. The institute has helped these startups grow faster by giving them specific advice, connecting them with the right people in business, supporting their teams, introducing them to investors, and assisting them in getting the resources they need to scale up.

The eight startups AIC BIMTECH supports are Cunomial, Credit Siddhi, Origin Connect, Transport Simple, Vacus, Fabrik, Detrocel, and Ecotio. These startups are making good progress in their fields. They are creating new ideas, jobs, and income.

They are having a big impact on India’s economy.
