MeitY grants ₹2 crore to BIMTECH startups

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has granted ₹2 crore in funding to five startups incubated at the Atal Incubation Centre (AIC) of the Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH). This funding is part of the SAMRIDH program. The five startups are Cunomial, Credit Siddhi, Origin Connect, Transport Simple, and Vacus.

They are part of a group of eight startups supported by AIC-BIMTECH under the program. Together, these startups have a total valuation of ₹75 crore. The SAMRIDH program was started by MeitY to help startups grow faster by providing financial support and encouraging innovation in various fields. Dr.

AIC BIMTECH has supported approximately 400 startups and established over 200 partnerships, creating a dynamic environment for new businesses. The institute has accelerated the growth of these startups by offering specialized guidance, business connections, investor introductions, and access to necessary resources for scaling up.

The eight startups supported by AIC BIMTECH are Cunomial, Credit Siddhi, Origin Connect, Transport Simple, Vacus, Fabrik, Detrocel, and Ecotio. These startups are making significant strides in their respective fields, contributing to job creation, income generation, and having a notable impact on India’s economy.
