Well, this new online library combines reading and playing in a way that will keep everybody happy – children will have their fun and parents will be delighted that their little ones are spending time fostering habits that are healthy in themselves.
The MeeGenius site is solely made up of children’s books that can be read both on a computer and on mobile devices (iPhones), and these titles come complete with audio tracks and even a function that highlights words for the little ones to focus on new, difficult vocabulary.
But if we were to pick a feature of the site as the defining one it is that the books can be personalized. This would let your children turn into the true protagonists of the stories that they are reading, and become ten times more involved as a result. If that is not a foolproof way to encourage children to pick one of the truly vital skills they will need in life, then I just don’t know what it is.
