The “Federal Branch” section has every office included in the Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches of the government. It is useful that the offices listed are displayed in a tree-like way, so that when you see the list you can also get an idea of where it is located in the State’s organization chart.
The “State & Local” section lists every state in the country and links you to every state’s official webpage. There you can browse through all the site to know any detail you need for that state in particular. Finally, the “Search” option gives you an engine to make specific searches for finding State related information.
Of course that GOV. is not only a site with links, but also a portal where you can get information about your taxes and file tax returns, find what you need to renew your passport, and many other important issues.
