Lewis Hamilton will grace the cover of the F1 25 Iconic Edition in his new Ferrari colors. EA Sports announced the seven-time world champion as the sole cover star for this special edition of the game. “Moving to Scuderia Ferrari is such an exciting new chapter of my career, and it feels incredible to have this moment represented on the F1 25 Iconic Edition cover,” Hamilton said.
“I’m so energized and hungry for this next part of my Formula One story and love that racing fans and players get to experience that with me through the game.”
This marks Hamilton’s first solo cover appearance in the F1 series, despite his numerous championships and storied career. His move to Ferrari was one of the biggest stories of the 2024 season, initiating substantial changes across many teams. Hamilton collaborated closely with photographer Campbell Addy for the cover shoot, contributing ideas and feedback.
He preferred walking and seated poses, which is reflected in the final cover image. The official reveal for F1 25 is set for March 26, with the game expected to launch on May 30, 2025.

The Iconic Edition will provide early access starting May 27, while Standard Edition buyers will get their hands on the game three days later. The Standard Edition is reportedly priced at £49.99 / $59.99, and the Iconic Edition is expected to cost £69.99 / $79.99. The Iconic Edition will feature special color schemes and other exclusive content.
While official features are yet to be confirmed, the community has high expectations. Gamers anticipate an enhanced My Team Career mode and the potential return of classic cars and tracks. With the EA/Codemasters partnership with Formula 1 set to expire at the end of 2025, with an option to extend through 2026 and 2027, expectations for F1 25 are particularly high.
F1 25 promises to be a significant release for Formula 1 gaming fans, especially with the inclusion of Lewis Hamilton and his new Ferrari liveries on the cover. Fans worldwide are marking their calendars for the full reveal on March 26 and the game’s launch in late May.
