LearnEnlish.de is a free independent website for English students and teachers.
The site provides education English language content for ESL/EFL students that want to practice their language skills. On this website students will find live chat rooms where they can practice their conversational skills with others that are learning as well as with native speakers. Using “iVisit service” a multimedia software application, students can have real-time conversations. Topics in the chat room change depending on the day; Mondays are dedicated to reading out loud, Wednesdays are for listening practice and Fridays are for relaxing and talking about anything they want. Other topics can be requested by members. The site also provides documentation on grammar and vocabulary that can be downloaded, as well as online games, tests and quizzes designed to improve English language knowledge. Information on British culture, translation tips and tricks, technical terms, and dictionaries is also available as well as the EPals page which can help get students in touch with other English speakers.
