Kwiry.com In Their Own Words
“How often do you watch TV, read a magazine, talk to friends or see a billboard and think, “I should check that out” or “I should e-mail that to a friend”? If you are anything like us, it happens all the time. After writing web addresses on our hands, ripping pages out of magazines we didn’t own, or simply forgetting, we decided there had to be a better way – a way to remember something before we forgot it. So we quit our jobs and created kwiry.
kwiry is a free service that turns text messages into reminders you retrieve online. When you text a reminder (a product to buy, movie trailer to watch, bill to pay, etc.) to 59479 (kwiry) we store it on our website. The next time you’re online you can log in to kwiry.com to manage your reminders, see search results for each one, and easily share with friends. See it. Text it. Get it.”
Why Kwiry.com It Might Be A Killer
Kwiry.com has an attractive, colorful site. The site is easy to navigate and has a clear straight forward explanation of how to use the application. The site has many screen shots which is a useful way to let visitors see how the application is set up. The social element of the application is nice; being able to add friends and see their public kwiry’s is fun.
Some Questions About Kwiry.com
Does Kwiry have any tools to help users search through public submissions? Such as tags? Or keyword search? It would also be nice if users could be more specific about when their messages are sent so it is more relevant to when they would need to be reminded. If you are seeing a play at the theater next week it would be nice if you could choose to receive a reminder the day before not a week before when you might forget.
