A new app store for parents and teachers all over the world, KinderTown lists nothing but educational applications. These have all been reviewed and screened, and they’re indexed by subject. “Math & Logic”, “Language”, “Science”… KinderTown clearly organizes everything, and an effort is made to include only apps that are nothing short of excellent. They are tested and reviewed not only by educators, but also by parents and by children. Only those that come with all the right features and that provide real value for money are accepted into this new app store.
Note, though, that the apps which are featured on KinderTown are specifically aimed at preschoolers. There’s no apps for students older than 3-6 years, and I’m sure that if the KinderTown team doesn’t move into that particular direction at any time or the other then someone else will. Such a service makes just too much sense, it could fill such an important space that someone’s going to aim for it.
