Kalabo is why i love the internet — it is a site that adds to a creative and experimental life no matter where you live in the world. Specifically, Kalabo allows musicians to collaboratively mix and modify each others original work, sort of like a virtual jazz site.
The process is simple: you download an original track, mix the tunes or record your own tracks over them, and share with others so they can enjoy and/or add their own touch. Best of all, there is no way to copyright the material, so it is truly a space for creative free form. I hope this site reaches its way into the hands of every true musician out there to enjoy and relish.
