Just Routes is a useful site if you are trying to get around in Dublin. No other site had provided a service for the city describing the best ways to get from point A to point B, so they’ve taken up this mission.
You can either enter your start and ending addresses, or you can click on two different spots on the map to get the distance between the two points and the best routes in which to travel between them. They’ll provide you with the information on how to get to your destination by car, bus, or train, what the possible connections will be, and the distance between them. There are already 5,765 stops recorded, and they post new routes daily. They have also translated the site into some of the most common languages besides their national ones used in Dublin, and all of the main languages will be done soon. So if you are traveling around Dublin and need to know how to get from place to place, Just Routes will give you the information you need to know to go.
JustRoutes.com In Their Own Words
“Justroutes is the brainchild of Vincent Glennon and Dave Rooney, both recent graduates from Dublin City University. The site has grown out of collective frustration at our frankly, rather anarchic public transport system. Seeing that information about bus rail and luas within Dublin was poorly collated and presented it was clear that a new approach was needed, thus justroutes.com was born.
We aim to cover Ireland first before expanding across Europe, the site is available currently as gaeilge, in english, en francais et i polski, more languages will be launching soon.”
Why JustRoutes.com It Might Be A Killer
Since no other site has provided this information, this will be a popular site providing a service not available before for residents of Dublin (or visitors). It’s easy to find out which route to take, and the directions are obvious and clear. As they expand across Europe, they will become more and more useful to more and more people. I only wish I had a tool like this for my city.
