The Joshua Project is an online initiative that aims to highlight the different ethnic groups throughout the world with the least followers of Christ. As the people behind the project say on the “About” page, the main aim is to “spread a passion for the supremacy of God in all things for all peoples through Jesus Christ”.
To these ends, the site includes a category entitled “Unreached” that highlights the ethnic groups of the world that need an initial church-planting movement, whereas the “Get Involved” pages list resources both for individuals and churches that desire to make a difference to the current state of affairs and support the Joshua Project. Furthermore, the website highlights the “Top Ten Unreached” on its main page along with “Unreached People of the Day”. The site also includes a comprehensive collection of online materials such as “What Is a People’s Group?” along with a download center where materials in several languages can be found.
