An interesting collaboration tool, Join.me will enable anybody to share his screen with his team mates and colleagues in real time.
The objective of the site is to enable everybody to collaborate in a better-informed way, and avoid having to communicate via IM or to send emails asking each other exactly what he’s doing at any moment in time.
Using Join.me is free, but note that you have to download and install a (small) file in your computer in order for the system to become operative. Once you have done so, others will be able to look you up by providing your username, and see exactly the very same screen that you are seeing. And the moment you leave the application, they will stop being able to see what you are visualizing on your screen. It’s as simple and direct as that.
Both Windows and Mac users will be able to use Join.me. The very same functionalities are provided in both cases. And all major browsers are supported, too – Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari…
Join.me In Their Own Words
