Jamspire is a network for creative people that bring them together under one roof. The site’s value proposition is to provide a medium for up and coming creative talent to share and promote their art/design.
Creative people can network with like-minded groups of artists and designers. They can get inspiration and feedback from other members, write about art and design, post and receive information about art/design related topics and events. The site also presents commercial opportunities for artists by hosting companies on the site that offers jobs and commissions. Jamspire comes out of Parsons School of Design and was sponsored by the University as a networking opportunity for its students who now have a medium to showcase their art to the world and stay updated with the latest in the art/design world. The site offers a personal URL: example, (jamspire.com/andreasjoseph). A flash application that works as your own personal gallery space. Companies have now entered the site in search for up-and-coming artists/designers. The first assignment featured the restaurant Piola NYC that wants to sell the art from the Jamspire users that it will exhibit on its locations.
