com almost sounds like it is part of the iPod and iTunes line when you first hear it, until you hear Rediff attached to it. Rediff is already a giant portal company in India. The site does exactly what YouTube does, except you can share files on IShare.Rediff.com and another interesting twist: it is mainly for Indians in India, and in the states, but all of the text is in English. The Indians will definitely use this, it has only been up for a short while and people have already upload a huge amount of photos and videos to the site. It is a great niche, why would the Indians want to use YouTube and search through a mountain of unrelated subjects, when they can get on iShare and find exactly what caters to them, and then if they want something else, then they can switch to YouTube momentarily.
