Its killer app is “Follow me”. This is a web-based program that provides the ability to quickly share your position and where you are going. Is a way that you can let the world know where you are. PC, PDA, Java Phones are all acceptable portals for the service, and all you have to do is register with the site and then install the plugin on your computer or mobile device. Also you can recieve messages on your mobile based on the coordinates of your location. If you do not have a GPS tracking device, you can enter the coordinates manually. As of now the plug ins are available for PDA with Windows Mobile and PC with Windows XP, but will soon branch out and include Nokia N95, Smartphone, and GNU-Linux. Your location is updated periodically, sent to the server, then the server send out notices based on your coordinates.
