Iompi.com provides an easy service to set up your own store online, even for those of you out there that have only a basic understand of electronic commerce.
Basically, if you have some things you want to sell, sign up for an account on Iompi and they will provide you with your own Iompi-based domain. From there you can upload photos and/or videos of your items, and tag and describe them. Iompi helps you to keep track of your purchases with the “Shopping Cart feature”, which also lets you buy items from others’ stores as well. All transactions are done through PayPal or DineroMail, so make sure you have an account with either one of those services. Currently, Iompi offers two accounts, a basic (and free) membership, and a “Business” membership which lets you sell up to 50 items and upload up to 200 images (the cost for this upgrade is $15/a month). Memberships are processed monthly; you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel with relative frequency.
