Now that the summer’s here, it could be a good idea to take a look at what places you can discover during your vacations, and if you’re headed to the state of Indiana, this site is the fundamental companion to the Hoosier State, its natural attractions, and also some touristic activities you might not be aware of. IndianaTraveler.
com is structured mainly as a directory where extensive information on accommodation (hotels, campgrounds and RV camps) is to be found, alongside with interesting categories listing canals, caverns, zoos and even covered bridges. If you’re not travelling at all, but care to find information on the history, culture and famous people from Indiana, you will also be able to read about that in the site. The information is mainly in text-only format, and generally you won’t be able to find links to the listed attractions or destinations, though some highlighted items get more extensive information and sometimes pictures too. It would be nice to get maps to different places, and maybe driving directions to make it more useful from non-locals to get around. A calendar of events is also featured on the site, so you can check out what will be on during your visit.
