Mumbai, the financial capital, follows closely with 73 entrepreneurs and 36 notable companies, particularly in the finance, media, and entertainment sectors. Gurugram has rapidly risen as a prominent startup city, hosting 34 entrepreneurs and 31 notable companies, mainly in tech and service industries.

New Delhi, the capital city, is home to 51 entrepreneurs and 15 notable companies, benefiting from its strategic importance and government policies. Chennai is making its mark with 16 entrepreneurs and 12 notable companies focusing on technology and manufacturing.

Pune, with its robust educational infrastructure and growing tech industry, is attracting 15 entrepreneurs and 7 notable companies. Hyderabad, known for its IT sector, nurtures 11 entrepreneurs and 6 notable companies. Ahmedabad’s rich entrepreneurial culture is reflected in its 10 entrepreneurs and 6 notable companies, mainly in traditional industries transforming into tech-driven ventures.

Kolkata, with its historical significance and emerging industrial base, has 7 entrepreneurs and 2 notable companies. Jaipur, famous for its cultural heritage, is also seeing an upswing in startup activities, with 6 entrepreneurs and 2 notable companies focusing on innovation. These cities provide the necessary infrastructure, investment, and talent pool to support and nurture new ventures, paving the way for India’s startup future.
