iLocker is based off this definition of what a locker is: a compartment for storing personal possessions; usually secure or locked.
iLocker allows you to create a locker containing whatever text you want.
The text you enter is encrypted using your password and a highly secure encryption method. The password isn’t stored on the server, so from the data on the server there is no way of decrypting the text, meaning even us the guys running the site can’t decrypt the data.
Your locker is available to you at anytime, you can update it, delete it and create as many lockers as you want.
Why iLocker It Might Be A Killer
As far as we’re aware there isn’t much out there like iLocker that gives users a place they can keep data, secrets, things to remember that they don’t want someone finding out. iLocker is unique in that there are no failsafes if you lose your password. We don’t have any because we want maximum security we can deliver.
Also, the service is reasonably anonymous. We don’t link anything (IP Addresses, email addreses, anything) to a locker. A locker is only identified by it’s ID number, so really we don’t know who has created or uses each locker.
