There is no need for you to be a special someone (and prove it) in order to use it. That is precisely the idea, I guess – being a site for those who are yet to make a name for themselves to join and use, and interact with people who are in a similar position.
Ideas Watch highlights the most popular ideas that have been submitted in the past month, and it also spotlights the biggest inspirers within the community. In the first case, that is determined based on the number of thumb-ups that each idea has received. And in the second case, that is determined according to the ranking that each person has – each person is ranked based on his interactions with the rest of the community, and the ideas he throws around.
When all is said and done, this is quite a suitable way for people who are trying to become renowned in the startup scene to begin treading the long path ahead. They will interact with those who are like them here – no big names to intimidate them at all will be around.
