Hotmarx is the latest entry in the already well represented social bookmarking field. As with nearly every other bookmarking tool out there, Hotmarx enables users to store, organize and share their favorite bookmarks with their best buds and the Hotmarx community.
Members are also given a plump 1 gig for storing documents and files related to their research. All bookmarks can be starred or rated for personal use (other users won’t be able to see your ratings). Bookmarks can be marked public, anonymous (searchable by the public, but attributed to an anonymous user), temporary (private items that can only be searched by the designated user), and private. The site is ad-free, but does take donations.

Some Questions About HotMarx.com
There are no toolbars, community interaction feels limited. The site is a tad underdesigned. It doesn’t have a lot of features. With everything else out there will the mainstream venture out to try something that doesn’t have that special in your face appeal?
