The Holocaust Education & Archive Research Team’s website is an online resource that has the objective of ensuring that the tragedy of the Holocaust will not be forgotten by future generations. The site includes several sections that deal with different aspects of the holocaust and the persecution that took place during the Second World War.
A prelude provides etymological information as well as an overview of previous racial persecutions in history, going back as far as the destruction of the Second Temple in Jerusalem in the year 70 CE. The site lists key Nazi leaders as well as SS members. For its part, life in the camps is detailed along with revolts and resistance attempts. A considerable portion of the site is devoted to survivors’ stories that remain evergreen when it comes to eliciting reflections. In addition to that, a gallery of images is featured along with an A-Z appendix for easy reference.
