HighSchoolJournalism.org is a web site presented by the American Society of Newspapers Editors and its aim is to provide student journalists, teachers, editors and guidance as well with resources in order to improve young journalists´ skills.
The aim of the organization is to provide different resources in order to help scholastic journalism develop and blossom. If you click on the make news section, you will find news, photos, videos, and articles written by and for teens, so if interested in taking a look at it just click on that category and get the information available. From the site, you will also be able to enter a contest; find information on it, and be sure to check if your high school has paper, if it doesn’t then you should enter it yourself. On the make a difference category you will find new tools in order for you to learn more about journalism, and you will as well find information on interesting student summer programs in order to encourage students to pursue their journalism goals, if that is what they want.
