Broadly speaking, said institute is a non-lucrative research and education organization that is devoted to what is termed as “heart-based living”. This is an euphemism for a life which is lead upon relying on the intelligence of one’s heart in harmony with the dictates of one’s mind. The institute has been conducting research on heart intelligence for the past 16 years, and its findings have been put into practice in a series of tools that are described online. These include a stress reliever system that makes for the prevention and management of stress, as well as a wide specter of solutions that are of use to educators and individuals who perform related duties. Special initiatives such as the HeartMath Military Warrior program and the Heart-Based Education Sponsorship Fund are likewise described online, and the scope of these endeavors and the corresponding application processes are described online in both cases.
